Regional Identity

The reason why I decided to make a post on this particular subject was because regional identity is crucial part of my film because both the antagonist and the protagonist portray that they are from certain place because they fit stereo types associated with them. Being from the ghetto parts of urban London our characters portray the characteristic of a person from that part of the area; such as them being intimidating which is shown in the film as they scare the victim to hand over his phone to them, another characteristic of the regional identity shown in the film is dislike of the police from the thugs as they see the police the enemy of their freedom.
