Technical Codes

These are the different types of technical codes found in every film and at the end of aspect, I'll tell you what I think me and my group would include in the film.

This includes the following:

Editing

  1. Straight Cut
  2. Transition
  3. Flash Cut
  4. Fade to black
  5. Dissolve
  6. Wipe
  7. Jump cut
In my film I will be using a few editing techniques such as 'Fade to black' . This will be a good editing technique for a fight scene as we would use a fade technique to let the audience know what's going on instead of making the scene long.

Sound
  1. Diagectic
  2. Non-Diagectic
  3. Parallel
  4. Contrapuntal
  5. Sound Bridge
  6. Voice Over
  7. Incidental Music
In our film, we would be using a both non-daigetic and diagectic sound but most importantly our film would include a voice over as the victim in our film will be telling the film to the audience

Types of shot

  1. Extreme Close up
  2. Close up
  3. Establishing shot
  4. Long shot
  5. Mid shot
  6. Birds eye
  7. Top shot
  8. Arial shot
  9. POV shot
  10. Insert shot
Due to high level action in our film, it means the audience we see a lot of extreme close and close up shot as it show the emotions of the characters in some the scenes. E.g When one of the perpetrators come out of the police station.

Lighting
  1. Low key
  2. High key
  3. High Contrast
In the my film there's going to be a lot of lighting changes such as when the victim is followed will be accompanied by a high key lighting whilst the film will turn to a low key lighting when the thugs arrive to symbolize imminent danger.
